Pillsbury School Bus Cookie Prize Giveaway

The school year has started this week and it has been a busy week with trying to get back on a schedule and adjust to a new early morning schedule.  Wow it is hard.  But a tradition I have is to always have cookies waiting when they come home from their 1st day of school.  This year it was a fun treat to give them Pillsbury  bus shaped cookies.

Now you can provide your kids with a magical and delicious way to start the school year off right with easy-to-make, fun bus-shaped sugar cookies. Just place and bake the refrigerated dough and within minutes you have delicious home-baked cookies to share with your kids.  The bus cookies are only available for a limited time.
And as an added bonus, each package of these back-to-school treats also has two Bonus Box Tops, which can help your child´s school earn extra cash they need for the school year.

Thanks to MyBlogSpark  I have a great Pillsbury Back to School gift basket to giveaway. tThe prize includes a coupon for a free package of the Pillsbury Back to School Shape® sugar cookies, as well as a reusable lunch bag, and some great school supplies like a pencil case, ruler and sharpener.

This is a short  contest that will end Monday night.  To enter leave a comment telling me what you like to do special for your kids when they go back to school.

Make sure you leave a way for me to get in touch with you. This contest will end on Mon. Sept.14 at 11:59pm EST and I will announce the winner the next day.

I like to have a special outing with my kids before I have to send them back to school! Something fun to end the summer on a high note.

The night before the first day of school, after my child is asleep, I create a greeting card using MS Publisher and tell him how proud I am of him, how much I miss him and mention something that we did recently together. Then I slip this note inside his schoolbag so he'll see this during the day when he's still in new surroundings and hopefully, it will make things easier.

I let them each pick their favorite snack and I have it ready for them when they get home!

We do a special breakfast on the first morning of school. At their plate, I put a small gift, not necessarily a toy but something special to mark the significance of a new school year.

Every day I try to finde something he can help me with. Yesterday we made bannana pudding. It was great! Today we will make cookies.

I like to have all of the back to school shopping done about three weeks before school starts. We also have everything labeled and organized in the back packs ready to go. Being organized takes away the stress the first day back.

I like to buy them something new to wear the first day, and always pack a special snack in their lunch....along with a note!

We had a special lunch after their first day of preschool. We'll have to see how the traditions change as they get older!
BTW the preschoolers are really excited about the prospect of riding the school bus next year - and disappointed that mom and dad are their school bus drivers for preschool - so these bus cookies would be a big hit!
Thanks,

My little guy isn't in school yet, but when all of the neighbor kids went back to school I took him out for a special lunch because he was feeling left out. I hope to start some fun traditions once he starts school.

My son is not old enough for school - but when I pack his lunch for him every day, I make sure to make most of his lunch finger foods. He loves to feed himself!
